National Museum Bangkok. Opened in 1874 The Museum was later transferred to "Wang Na", In 1926, it was re-named the "Bangkok Museum" and then the National Museum, It is located Within the walking distance of the Grand Palace this is one of the largest and most comprehensive museums in S.E.Asia and houses a vast collection of artifacts found in all parts of the country ranging from Neolithic times,Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and later perids. Bangkok Doll Museum is a factory/museum, founded in 1956, has a huge collection of dolls in a Japanese/ Thai style dolls, the broad choices of exhibits appeal to children and adults alike. Dolls on display reflect eight types of categories: khons and khon mask, hilltribe people, dolls for chldren, puppets, dolls from other countries, exotic dolls can also be made to order. Ban Chang Thai in English House of Thai Artisans. Thai puppets are crafted and displayed, occasional shows. They also offer craft courses such as puppet making, gilded painting, Thai motif designing, Thai-style painting, watercolour, oils and chalk drawing. The Royal Barge National Museum
Amazingly ornately decorated boats or barges the most spectacular of which is Suphanahong, the King’s personal barge. Built in 1911 it resembles a mythical swan, The Royal Barges are one of Bangkok’s most fascinating sights. An incredible collection of unique water craft. between June and October the barges can be seen in procession along the river a spectacular armarda over over 50 boats

Khamthieng Thai House Originally situated in Chiang Mai built over 200 years ago the teak building was dismantled and reconstructed in Bangkok. Jim Thomson's Thai House Jim Thompson a self-made American entrepreneur, founder of the world famous Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company known as the "Legendary American of Thailand". Thompson's successstory in Thailand has become one of the most renownedlegends of Asia. Today, the charming Thai style house continues to be a key point for visitors to Bangkok. The house consists of six traditional Thai-style houses, teak structures that were purchased from several owners and moved to the present location from various parts of Thailand.
