There is a huge variety of daytime and evening sports and recreation in Pattaya with something for everyone either athletic or not, below certainly is not all the clubs and activities available but should give a good indication of the selection you can look into.
Funk's Ballonfahrten offers a 4-5 hour hot air balloon experience including collection at around 05:00, refreshments, one hour baloon flight, champagne breakfast, certificate, and transport back to your hotel around 11:00 for 8500 baht. Daily from November through March.
Jet-skiing rentals are available along all the popular beaches, with rates starting around 600 baht for 30 minutes. A scam involves some operators attempting to collect surcharges for supposed damage - call the Tourist Police (1155) if necessary.
Bira International Circuit (tel. +66-22803547 / +66-25221731 /8) is about 15 km from Pattaya on the Pattaya-Rayong Road (Highway #36) and hosts 2 and 4 wheel race events at weekends. Highside Tours offers one day (16000) and three day (60000 baht) motorcycle track-day packages at Bira - see their website for details.

Thailand is a golfer’s paradise with over 200 courses with somewhere around 70classified as outstanding and 30 as world class. Many of the great names in the sport are associated with locations all over the Kingdom they include Player, Faldo, Norman, Robert Trent Jones, Nicklaus and Ronald Fream to name just a few.
Many of these wonderful courses are set in the most magnificent locations with stunning backdrops, luxurious clubhouses, cabbies are always friendly and are the norm not an added luxury, green fee’s are very low by western standards, advance booking is generally not needed, club and buggy hire are very reasonable all of this is combining to make Thailand one of the worlds golfing hot spots.
Although golf is widespread throughout the country most are centred around the main tourist areas hire of clubs and so is very easy and reasonable even buying the equipment is viable at Thai prices. You can make all your own arrangements or book with a travel agent or golf booking agent locally, packages can often be purchased at a better rate than pay as you go. Thai golf courses nearly always offer high quality facilities such as high quality clubhouses many with pools and other leisure activities for the non golfer in the family many courses have a hotel attached.
Many courses hold a "sportsmen's day" often on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Green fee’s around 500. Caddies are usually available for about Bt 150. Compared to the west, they are very reasonable
