Kata and Karon

Luang Poh Chuan Road is one of the main night time haunts for many visitors, lots of bars and restaurants although not to crowded or rowdy.

Some of the more popular bars are Easy Bar, Winner. Nan’s Hot Shot and Karma Lounge there are plenty more to choose from many offering pool and satellite sports and girls who all think you are ‘handsome man.

Patong Beach

Patong certainly caters to every kind of nightlife from quiet little bars and restaurants to wild disco’s , chic jazz and other music bars to ear splitting beer bars , if your looking for something to do at night then Patong has it.

Soi Bangla

Is the center of  the very active bar scene, all kinds of drinking establishments such as Scruffy Murphy’s Irish pub , Seduction night club, Tiger Entertanment complex Club Rio has its own brand of Latin jazz nightly.
La Baia has a pretty sophisticated atmosphere Rock City on the beach road, has live heavy metal bands , Molly Malone’s for traditional Irish music every night .

Banana Club features live bands, Margaritas, at the corner of Bangla also has live music Most clubs charge a reasonable 100 baht (ish) for drinks . Many nightclubs/discos in the area have a 100 baht entrance fee but that is covered with a free drink once inside .

Soi Easy has a large number of beer bars under all covered so a good place to head if it starts to rain There are Caberet and Transvetite shows that can be found in Patong Simon Cabaret is widely considered to be the best show, but there is several other of these ‘ladyboy’ shows competing for the crown Moulin Rose Sphinx, My Way Cabaret. The shows, costumes and entertainers  are very  extravagant and over the top .

The Paradise Complex is basically the gay center of Patong, features many gay orientated bars and clubs including the Boat Bar which has a caberet , CU Tonight a show and GoGo club, the wonderfully named Flying Handbag bar , the Oz owned  James Dean Bar, the very well known

My Way GoGo and many,  many other bars , eating places , and other night time gay entertainment locations  there is also Karon Circle which is the other main entertainment area with a further selection of similar bars and more eating places.

Another spot you might want to try is Aroona Karon this is a modern complex of bars and restaurants reasonably laid back atmosphere with lots of good food and some interesting bars.

In Kata tryTaina Rd for nightlife and eating, like almost everywhere inThailand bars close at one on Phuket and like everywhere inThailand bars don’t necessarily close at one, just ask around
