Ex Manchester United legends Paul Parker and Bryan Robson brought United fans in Thailand a surprise by bringing the “Manchester United 19 Times Premier League” trophy with them as part of their worldwide tour. The entire team arrived to visit on February 9th at the Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Mr Kerrar Yuksel (centre), Turkish Airlines Director for Thailand and Cambodia, who welcomed both Manchester United legends at Suvarnabhumi Airport this morning (9 February), said “As a global carrier, we know that sports play an important role in reaching our customers around the world.
“With the visit of these Manchester United legends and the “Manchester United 19 times Premiere League” trophy we believe that this will further strengthen the Turkish Airlines brand especially in the Thai market. Turkish Airlines signed a three-and-a-half-year agreement with Manchester United in 2010. Our partnership grants Turkish Airlines access to the stadiums, opportunities for commercials with the players, and of course flying the team to tournaments and training camps as the club’s officer carrier,” he said.
